About Tim, our winemaker
It was a vintage in northern Italy at Azienda Agricola Brezza, in the village of Barolo, among the stunning Venetian architecture and roaming vineyards that my intrigue for winemaking and viticulture first emerged.
Perhaps it was the ancient cellars, or the intoxicating varietals of Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Fiano and Freisa… these undoubtedly ignited my imagination, yet more likely, it was that I felt an affinity with the people and the region’s history of farming.
These were and are inspirational people unafraid to get their hands dirty with a humility and passion for their craft. Just earthy and authentic people with a love of the land and their vinous pursuits.
Being immersed in this 8-month experience instilled in me the love of small batch wine making.
Some little known facts about Tim: he is Greek Orthodox and a self professed Phillhellene having journeyed to Greece on multiple occasions.
